Sketch, Squiggle and scrawl!

The description read, “Sketch, squiggle, and scrawl together on a local Norwood street corner.” And that is exactly what we did and it was magnificent fun! Resident artist, Deborah Smalley, hosted a two-hour ‘wobbly-line’ ink pen sketching workshop. No drawing experience was necessary, and we were encouraged to loosen up, have a go and have some fun. We created artwork of some of Norwood’s historic buildings, and whilst doing so also learnt a lot about them and interesting historic facts from the area. All materials were supplied, so all we had to bring was some curiosity and out enthusiasm! Highly recommend this workshop – there are two more coming up. Links below to the workshops.
