Life’s more fun when you’re towning about! So, Sam About Town was created for Samantha Tipler to write about, photograph and share the weird, the wonderful, the new and the interesting, about town, wherever she may be.

Born from sadness and some frustration at Adelaidians bemoaning the fact there is “nothing to do in Adelaide”….nothing to do?…Pah! There is ALWAYS something to do. Boredom does not exist in the town of Sam.

Sometimes, when there isn’t the plethora of events comprising Fab Feb or Mad March in Adelaide, it’s a little trickier to find all the gems, and that’s why I’m here! To help share information, events, happenings and anything I subjectively find engaging and worth sharing.

For those of you who, heaven forbid, don’t actually know of me….ahem….well, I was born overseas, have lived overseas, but have spent most of my life in Adelaide. A born wanderer with adventure in my soul, I live to create and I thrive on others’ creatvity and passion. I paint, write, design, market and engage (and drink wine).
