Spin your eyes around this!
Not quite sure how to make your eyes spin, but if they could they would!
Mind boggling, awe-inspiring entertainment exploring all forms of rotation.
Breakdancers, basketball whizzes, BMX stunts, cyr wheel acrobatics and improvised rap combine to create a showcase of phenomenal talent to a backdrop of live music, lighting and graphics.
Walking into an atmosphere created by edgy street music, great lighting and a stage set that created anticipation, the energy in the room was full of excitement.
Large graphics juxtaposed by the MC’s rap style of speaking, creatively introduced each of the stars. Each one gave a cameo performance of his main skill, followed by an individual routine as the show progressed. Each act was high octane, high energy and full of skill. The roue cyn performance was a counterpoint to the overall intensity with its artistic, aethethetic and totally mesmerising motion.
The international cast sported a plethora of awards and championship titles between them and their class and experience showed. They were slick, full of personality, fantastic at engaging the audience and incredibly talented.
The intensity increased throughout the show until all performers joined together on stage at fever pitch. A very imaginative concept utilised lighting and the cyr wheel to devise a focal point for the finale. With so many stunts and skills on show, frenetic activity was choreographed neatly avoiding potential chaos, instead creating a smooth, clever and entertaining showcase of all the performers’ talents.
“That was incredible”, I heard an audience member say.
“We saw it before but loved it so much we came again”, said another.
These comments combined with the smiles, cheers, squeals and gasps, show this was a very satisfied and inspired audience. Highly recommend this show.
